Blood stone is a cryptocrystalline mixture of quartz. Bloodstone is typically opaque green jasper with red inclusions of hematite and occasional sparkles of pyrite. The red spots resemble blood and it was given the trade name blood stone. 

Bloodstone is known for balancing energy and helping with anxiety.
